Steve Bowers has worked in media (radio, television, newspaper) and communications all his career.  That career included six years in the ministry.

Educated at Freed-Hardeman University and Harding University, Steve has spent his entire post-college adult life in West Tennessee.

He currently co-hosts "Daybreak" and hosts "The Zone" at News-Talk 101.5 FM in Jackson, Tennessee (far enough from Washington and away from Nashville to enable one to see and think clearly).

Describing his work as "perspective" radio, Bowers' broadcasts and writing reflect his life experience.

Married in 1998 to Pam, and father this year to Clayton, Steve also has daughters Krisinda (21) and Jessica (9).
